Do I Need Different Trophies for Boys and Girls Soccer Teams?

Most coaches choose gender-specific figures that match their players, but it's optional and there's no price difference. You can order all male figures, all female figures, or mix them on the same order for co-ed teams.

Why Gender-Specific Figures Matter

Youth players appreciate seeing themselves represented in their trophies. A female soccer player figure with a ponytail and appropriate uniform style helps girls see their achievement reflected in the award. Similarly, male figures are designed to represent boys. This representation, while small, contributes to making all players feel equally valued and recognized.

That said, many coaches of younger teams (U6-U8) opt for generic or neutral figures like soccer balls, since very young children are less focused on these details. As players get older and more invested in their identity as athletes, gender-specific figures become more meaningful.

Ordering for Co-Ed Teams

If you coach a co-ed team, you can absolutely mix figure styles on a single order with no complications:

• Select "Male Figure" for boys on your roster
• Select "Female Figure" for girls on your roster
• The bases, columns, and overall trophy style remain identical
• Engraving is personalized individually regardless of figure choice
• There is zero price difference between male and female figures
