TrophyCentral Spotlight070407Whether its rain or shine, windy or 105 degree weather Robert Stewart of SBK was always out on the field pulling everyone together and is that push you need to get going. He is a great friend and a great paintballer as well. We have all known Robert for over a year and he is always there to put a smile on our face whether it's trying to get everyone in on a "group shower", or being the core of all our jokes. Robert is a good sport and will be missed at the fields of El Paso by his friends and fellow ballers but we wish you the best of luck at medical school and we will all miss you and we'll be waiting for you to come back and put a smile back on our faces. Once again good luck and we'll miss you Robert - 2007 Player of the Year.

TrophyCentral Spotlight052207The Neon Blowfish are the quiet little creatures on the soccer field. The players no one gave much consideration to, until now…they came from nowhere to EXPLODE into first place this season. They are the U12 girls to be reckoned with both on and off the soccer field. I am so fortunate to have had the opportunity to coach such an incredible group of young ladies. Respect is something I enforce both on and off the field. The Neon Blowfish have embraced it and literally ran with it. They have learned to show respect to their teammates, their opponents, the referees, the spectators and especially to themselves. My expectations of them have exceeded and their talent speaks for itself when they take to the field for a game. It is a pure joy to watch them pass, shield and dribble the ball down the field before putting into the net. I well up like a blowfish with a proud heart because they do it as a team! Go Blowfish! Go Blowfish! Go….

TrophyCentral Spotlight030607 We would like to congratulate Jaycson Bereal and Devin Diaz. They are both 2 sport athletes, (Jaycson in football and basketball, Devin in baseball and basketball). They have fast become close friends on and off the court. What is encouraging about these boys is that they both battle asthma. Each and every game these boys turn heads with their incredible athletic talent. With Devin's blinding speed and playmaking skills combined with Jaycson's incredible size and shot blocking ability, these kids are truly a rare 1 -2 punch in the YMCA youth league and will lead their team to the championship this year.

Way To Go Jaycson and Devin! No doubt we will be reading about these kids for years to come!!!!!

A year ago, Dan was still in the hospital. We knew he would live, but we didn't know what was in store for our family and our future.

Wow! A bit over a year later, our "novel or movie" does have a "happy ending!"

On Tuesday, October 10, 2006, Joel and Rebekah won the Pre-Juvenile Ice Dance event at the Southwestern Regional Figure Skating Championships! They received first place scores from all five of the judges. It was a tough event with six teams competing and representing Texas, Nebraska, Kansas, and Colorado. We feel that the children have accomplished a great deal.

Of course, Dan was able to come. He video-taped the children and drove us to the competition rink in Denver. Who would have thought all this could have been possible a year ago?

We are so, so happy. Two years ago, I began training the kids to become ice dancers with the goal of competing in Southwesterns and that goal did become a reality. Winning just even makes all of this more special!

We would like to recognize our son Stephen Eisenwasser for all of his accomplishments this year. He has been very busy in the arts field: he landed a leading role in 2 short films and one feature indie film. He debuted in The show Pippin as a primary player "Theo" at the Lake Worth Playhouse, and was also a main player in a possible future Broadway show titled A Question of Time. And yet only 9 years old his future is very brite in Theatre and Film. He Had the FCATs in Florida and was the top in his class. We are so proud of Stephen and wish him the best.

His Parents Neil & Ileen Eisenwasser.

I am an aunt to many and with the idea from my daughter, Lily, 8, I decided that I would continue her education during the summer and prepare her for the 3rd grade. She talked to her cousins and they all wanted to come too! So my little summer class has turned into having 5 students learning Reading, Math, and Art during the summer for 8-weeks. I think this is outstanding how much effort they decided on their own to put into learning! I admire them all! I am having an awards ceremony to congratulate them for doing all their hard work!

TrophyCentral Spotlight1So several years now I have ordered medals for the grandchildren’s “Annual Nanna and Pappa Cape Cod Presentation Night”. Each year a subject is given to the grandchildren.

Topics have been ‘favorite places’, ‘Origami’, ‘Greece’, ‘Narnia or Nirvana’, etc. Each child who participates is awarded one of the medals on a neck ribbon. The grandchildren have done some innovative presentations. One would expect pictures of Cape Code under ‘favorite places’, ‘origami’ “was hard, Nanna” was the report; ‘Greece’ was represented by girls togaed in sheets singing the National Anthem; two boys made a diorama of Theseus and the Minator; C.S. Lewis did well by the children. Original poetry and music have been contributed.

This year the theme is “What Is In Your Frame?” A frame has been given to each grandchild. The frame need not contain a picture, it can be a poem, a happy report card, or whatever the grandchild wants the frame to contain.

We look forward to this year’s presentation by the grandchildren!

As a fourth grade Math student, our grandson, Ryan, achieved a score of 2018 in the FCAT Math Tests that were held in Florida in 2006. This score places him at Grade Five Level and he was recommended for Pre-Algebra in the next school session. We are truly proud of his accomplishment!

With love and admiration, Grandma & Grandpa (New York)
